Shockwave

An annual youth prayer mobilization by Open Doors Youth

"You listen to the longings of those who suffer. You offer them hope, and you pay attention to their cries for help." Psalm 10:17

Waves of prayers will once again rise this year as Open Doors Philippines holds Shockwave, its annual youth prayer mobilization for the persecuted church on March 2-4, 2012. As the simultaneous worldwide youth version of the International Day of Prayer (IDOP) for the persecuted, Shockwave will continue to gather and awaken the Filipino youth and be united in praying for the restricted believers all around the world.

Last year, more than 200 youths participated in Shockwave in 3 churches (including one Christian organization) and prayed for the TOP 10 countries of the Open Doors World Watch List where the worst of Christian persecution exists.

This 2012, as Shockwave focuses on the nations included in The Arabic Spring, experience another revolution of prayer by the future generation of the church. Level up the flame of your youth by becoming aware and involved in the sufferings of our persecuted brothers and sisters in Christ and respond in prayer! Contact us on how you can hold your own Shockwave 2012!

"Shockwave allowed me to see Jesus through the eyes of the persecuted brethren." -Esther Joy Evasco (FFBC)

"Shockwave meant unleashing the limitless power of God on behalf of our persecuted brethren. It was an opportunity for us to take part in a ministry that seeks to bless our brothers and sisters who suffer for the sake of the gospel" -Juliet Didulo (PCCC)
